Hi Folks,
Wanted to start a separate topic specifically for the MABDR.
It looks like EagleRider Pittsburgh will be hosting the movie:

7:30 pm to 9:30 - Movie, followed by Q&A with members of the MABDR expedition team, Court Butler, owner of Butler Motorcycle Maps, and Tim James, BDR Ambassador.

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres following the Q&A.

Tickets: $5 donation at the door to benefit the BDR non-profit.

RSVP: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., or 412-276-1300.

More info: EagleRiderPittsburgh.com

The following link is from ADV-Moto which includes a short video on the ride.
This appears to be a big adventure bike friendly route for all of the GS folks!

Hope to meet some of you at the premiere on 2/23 and hopefully ride this route late Spring/Summer.

Chris, Sounds like a good time, I like motorcycle adventure movies. The Carnegie Free Library has been restored and is a great venue for this event. Visiting the library is worth while alone. Hope to see a lot of our 4 Winds members. Thanks for the info. JH

Yes. Saw a few 4 Winds folks.
Met Chris, the original poster- new member - rides a 12GSA.
Sat with Kevin and Shirley with Ed Tatters sitting behind us with a bunch of guys.

I thought the movie was great - easy route with around 60:40 paved :unpaved that can be easily changed to 40:60. Many interesting options for credit card lodging in addition to camping.

Hope to do at least part of it this season. Around a thousand miles doable in 5-7 Days or break it up and do 2 3-day weekends.

For those without a dual sport bike , Eaglerider Pittsburgh is going to rent GS’s - possibly even at the beginning of the route.

Perfect for you and Tim 2-up on the GS!
