Trust Brown's will be open after the kitchen fire a couple of month's back. If not there's always Eppinger's a bit farther up 19.

Just getting a chance to make a post ... The "off week breakfast ride" had a great turnout! We had a total of 13 pancake eaters show up ... not too bad considering what the weatherman had predicted!! It was good to meet Jack's brother in law and nephew (Tom & Dom) all the way from Long Island (glad you guys could make it). Breakfast was awesome and the tire kicking was just as awesome too. The group split up after all the BSing and everbody went their own ways, most likely trying to beat the rain home. A smaller group convinced Ed to take us on a tour of some smaller off the beaten path roads ... we had an awesome ride!!!! We may have pushed our luck a little too far and probably should have headed home sooner but the riding was too good and the roads were calling :cheer: The group split in Grove City (I think) with Ed heading home (thanks again Ed), John and Mary taking Rt 8 and Bob, Kim and I ripping down 79 for a bit. I hope Ed, John and Mary stayed dry ... our group got HAMMERED in a frog strangler  Kim and I split on 68 in Zeli to head west while Bob continued south to his place.

I think we need to do more meets/rides like this, everybody seemed to have a good time ... Here are a few pics thanks to our photographer ReddyK

Thanks to everybody that came out yesterday!!!!!

Thanks for posting the pictures. When we split at Grove City, we headed east on Rt 58 to RT 8. We only made it a couple miles before the rain started. While we were moving we didn't get very wet but when we headed south on RT 8 we came across a Detour that took us back to Slippery Rock via RT 108 west. So sitting through a few red lights in Slippery Rock we started getting wet. As we got re-routed on to RT 173 South the frog strangler started. It kind of felt refreshing after the heat and humidity was starting to get to us. After a great ride with our new friends, some how it didn't even matter that we got caught in the rain. We just took it easy and tried to stay on straight smooth roads( RT 8 south). Thanks Ed, for being our tour guide. We had a great time.
Brown's Country Kitchen was great. They were more than willing to accommodate our large group as we took over their restaurant with all of the loud voices. The food and service was excellent. I think we should have our North breakfast there all the time.
