TOPIC: Big Butler Fair's Annual Bike Night, On Saturday July 11th

On Saturday July 11th , is the kick off the Big Butler Fair's Annual Bike Night at 6:00pm. Whether you’re a diehard rider , just a casual rider, or just want you to stop by for a night of food & fun to share your passion for motorcycle riding. They are setting the comradery of our Bike Night with Y108 Freedom Fest. Ride your motorcycle into the Grandstand through the West Gate and your admission to the fairgrounds is $5.00. This will be our third year going to this event and It is always a good time as long as you don't mind riding home in the dark. They usually draw in a couple hundred bikes.

Yes, Diane you are correct about the two bike nights. The second one just recently changed from Wednesday, July 8th: Bret Michael's day, to Saturday, July 11: Freedom Bike Night. If anybody is going, make sure you enter at the west gate to get to the track where they race horses. There is a a path leading to it that is half gravel, and half hard packed dirt. There is usually signs but watch out for the patches of gravel. They will wake you up in a hurry on two wheels.

Here is bike night a few years ago just to give you an idea.

After a great ride from the west breakfast we went to bike night at the Big Butler Fair. We were looking for other members, but we could only find one old member of the club that rode the red 1200RS pictured.


We did however find our old friend Wild Bill, giving rides in his monster truck. He said he would ride all of us that showed up at the west breakfast, to the Vintage Gran Prix in Schenley Park next week. Mary even talked him into letting her drive. News at 11:00…
