TOPIC: ride to tygart lake

Just a reminder to everyone about the ride to Tom and Sandy's place on Tygart lake. Most of us will be coming down on fri night and riding west virginia sat and then home on sun. Take a look at my article in the June newsletter, page 11 for more info. and look in the photo section of the website for photos of previous weekends there. The dates are 9/25-9/27. Sleeping arrangements at Tom's vary from a bedroom to camping in yard, but I haven't seen a weekend where we couldn't get everyone inside, so bring your sleeping bag and a pad and you should be fine. Nearest motel is @ 30 min away. Tom says that they recently changed the address there, so I will add another post when I get the address and give some directions. Let me know if you think that you might be coming so I can give tom a head count. If you have any questions, either post them or call me. I will also be at the meeting on sat. sean

The address is 816 Boyce rd, Grafton. The problem is that they recently changed to name of the road. If you use goggle, they have it correct but you might want to copy your directions before leaving since cell service can be spotty out there. Garmin still has the address as Bath House rd.
gen directionscoming south on Rt 119, on entering Grafton, take a left on Bridge st.. After crossing the bridge, take a left. Your should be on Barrett st. This will become Knottsville rd, conti on this. At @ 3 miles, keep to the right and you are on Boyce rd. House is on the left after @ 0.8 mile. If you get into Tygart Park, you went to far.

For those riders that were hesitant to come to Tommy's this weekend secondary to the lack of motel rooms near by, Tom and Sandy found the Crislet Motor Lodge in Graften. Near intersection of Rt 119 and Rt 5o. 5 miles from Tom's. 304-265-2100, $72. if you mention 4 winds or tom meyers. Come on down, it should be fun

I am riding to Tom's Friday afternoon around 2:00 or 2:30. Anyone who wants to ride down together email or post a note and we can set a time to meet. I will be leaving from Cranberry.
