I'm inviting -- no, encouraging -- Four Winds riders and other BMW moto owners to bring their bikes to Schenley Park this July for the Vintage Motorbike show. This year marks the 100th anniversary of BMW -- the R32, the company's first motorcycle, was introduced at the Berlin Motor Show in 1923. Now, you might not have an R32, but how about a /6? The R90/6, the R90S, and other notable models were introduced in 1973, a good 50 years ago. If ever there was a year to bring our bikes to Schenley Park, this is the one. And, if you'd like to participate even more than simply showing a bike at Schenley, the event's head of security invites our members to become part of the daytime security crew for one or both days. Either way, please think about coming, and bringing your great motos to the park. It's the weekend of July 22 & 23. For more info, see the website pvgp.org.
