After the north breakfast the perfect weather enticed me to keep riding. End of February I mailed my airhead Bing carbs to Bing Agency International. It is expensive, invoice attached. Being 30 years old, 180,000 miles wear and EPA calibrated. Bing re-manufactured the carbs. After 4 weeks they returned and I quickly installed them. Engine fired right up and ran nice. Got out the mercury sticks after a short ride to sync the throttle cables. My first ride today was great. To be expected. But will mpg improve will be the test. Only averaged 35mpg for 30 years.
