So busy talking, forgot to take picts at Driscoll's restaurant of the May meeting. Bob Mihelics, Mark Zang, Tim and I went down to Brownsville, PA afterwards to check out the
National Pike Steam Gas Horse Show Assoc. They host an event twice a year, with the other one being Aug. 10 - 12. Very impressive variety and collection of preserved antique machinery and vehicles of all sizes and shapes, from mining, railroads, drilling/pumping, agriculture, you name it. All running and putting and digging in huge piles of dirt - just having a blast. Volunteers cooking food, craft vendors, flea market/parts and tools, working blacksmith shop, music, and various demonstrations.
Makes a great ride destination or family activity. Keep an eye on their twice a year schedule. Of course being so close to Washington, PA, we had to go to Hog Father's for some Q before heading home.
