Next question. I bought a Condor wheel chock for my trailer back when I was giving the RV thing a try. Sold everything but kept the Condor as I thought it would be helpful in the garage but have never used it because lucky for me, someone suggested that unless it was "anchored" in the concrete, it would likely slide making it impossible to get the bike out of the chock by myself. Has anyone ever tried putting a rubber mat under one of these? Do you think it will hold it on concrete? That's what the Condor guys suggested when I spoke with them at the Cleveland show...so I bought a mat that just arrived. Now I'm chicken to try it and get stuck! ( I might try it tonight since Kissell is picking up the bike tomorrow and can help me get it out if it doesn't work) I'll report back but if anyone has any experience in this area, I'd be interested in hearing about it.

Holly, were mostly guys reading these posts, we all have done things that we questioned, "I think this will Work".
Be brave what could go wrong !!!
Or you could wait for the guy to show up tomorrow, then try it.
Have a glass of wine, no stress in that.
If what you add doesn't make you better, your carrying dead weight.

The rubber mat under the Condor worked! It will really help with space in the winter and draining/checking oil! I rode the bike into it and was able to pull it back out without pulling the chock along the smooth concrete.
