TOPIC: Vintage Gathering & Ride, Saturday June 14th Ligonier

Posting for a friend who was at Tom Myers weekend with us last year:

Hi all!
You are invited to a vintage motorcycle gathering on June 14th, 2014 in Ligonier, PA. I am hosting a cookout at my place after a scenic back road tour of the Laurel Highlands. We are meeting in Ligonier between 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. on the diamond. You can gas up one block away on Rt 30 across from Fort Ligonier. We'll start out at 9:00 a.m. and ride approximately 80 miles–then back to my place for the afternoon/evening.

This is an official Antique Motorcycle Club of America (Allegheny Mt. Chapter) event so there will be lots of pre-war bikes and good company. All brands are welcome so get your old machine running and join us for a great day of riding and tire kick'in.

***Please let me know if you plan to come so I can prepare enough food.***

June 14th is also the day 4 Winds will have its regular meeting with the Laurel Highlands BMW Club at their June 13-15 Campout at Pioneer Campground (see the updated June Newsletter for more details. Club meeting starts at the Pioneer Campground Shelter around 4:00 P.M. June 14th).

Both the Antique Motorcycle Club ride and Laurel Highlands Campout sound like a blast ... The 14th is also the West Breakfast Meet/Ride so it's sounds like a busy weekend. We will be out of town and won't be able to make any of these, will be in Wisconsin for LaCrosse Rally.

Just a heads up, Laconia Bike Rally also starts on the 14th ...

So many choices and just not enough time! Have fun and be safe no matter what or where you all decide ...

Thanks for the heads up on this ride. I threw it out there to Western PA Airheads as well. I will bring a long a few postcards and see if I can't get some of them interested in our Rally.
