TOPIC: Dinner Ride

I know the notice is a bit late this year but I am organizing the third annual Italian dinner ride for this Sunday. The weather looks good and it should be a good ride on back roads to Foxburg. Tom and Bethany invited everyone to see their place when we get to the Foxburg festival. Below is a copy of the announcement.

Italian Dinner Ride with Vincenzo
I am organizing my third annual dinner (Italian Food) and ride to Foxburg for the Annual Fall Festival on October 11th. If you are interested, meet at La Casa Narcisi Winery (Le Vite restaurant) at 4578 Gibsonia Road, Gibsonia, PA 15044.
The telephone number is (724) 444-4744. We will meet at the restaurant at 11:30am and after eating some good Italian food ride on back roads to Foxburg to attend the festival. If the weather is bad you still may still attend by car and eat dinner. Everybody can make his or her own decision about riding if the weather is inclement. It is not necessary to make reservations. Sounds good, Vincenzo!! I had hoped to at least make the lunch, but the darn room is moving on its own again this morning, so I'm not going to chance riding. Hope you all have a great lunch at Narcisi's.and a nice ride and time in Foxburg!

Seven of us had a wonderful dinner at Narcis Winery on Saturday. Afterwards, Vincenzo led us on a nice ride north on Route 528 to Moraine State Park, where we made a pit stop and then continued north to the Foxburg Fall Festival. We met Kent and Lou Ann McFadden there. We enjoyed apple dumplings for desert. The weather was absolutely perfect. Mary was able to take pictures of the whole ride being a passenger this time. As we approached Foxburg it was incredible. There were so many people at the festival the bridge was full of bikes waiting to park. The river was so beautiful. The trees are changing now making a ride so enjoyable. Fall is here time to ride before snow falls. Take care be safe! Hope to see everyone at the meeting at John Humphrey’s home.

What a GREAT day to meet BMW friends at Foxburg which is very close to our hometown, Franklin....Always good to see "John & Mary" and to also meet some other BMW riders ! Thanks and hope we may ride again SOON !!!

I did the same route a couple of weekends ago on a ride-to-eat to the allegheny grille in Foxburg.

Speaking of Italian food and Franklin PA - one of my favorite ride-to-eat places is Bella Cucina in Franklin. You Franklin folks have to set up a ride to eat at BC next year - I'd definitely make it!
